For three days from 10 to 12 October 2024, Dresden will once again become Germany's capital of non-police emergency response - at FLORIAN 2024, the technologies of the future for members of the fire, rescue and civil protection services will be presented and the latest developments in the field of emergency response and disaster control as well as the key points of cooperation between the organizations will be discussed.
In addition, no other federal state invests as much per capita in fire protection and fire departments as the state of Saxony - investments in forest firefighting of around 30 million euros over the next three years in addition to the 40 million euros already spent annually on fire departments.
