The Technical Rescue Expert Forum will present current and new findings in technical rescue following traffic accidents. The tactically correct use of rescue equipment is just as important as the collaboration between technical and medical rescue teams. These areas of overlap will be addressed and illustrated with practical examples.
Advances in vehicle safety play a significant role in accident prevention and also contribute important aspects to rescue operations following accidents. Accident research and its findings are now essential contributions to prevention and help in understanding how accidents occur. Preserving evidence at the accident scene is of great importance in this regard.
