Every year, the New York Times publishes a list of travel recommendations. In 2024, Dresden made it onto this illustrious list. What do Choquequirao in Peru, Antananarivo in Madagascar, the Albanian Alps, the cosmopolitan city of Paris and Dresden have in common? They all appear on the list of top travel recommendations for 2024 published by the renowned US newspaper "New York Times". The editors selected a total of 52 destinations for the annual list. Dresden is the only place in Germany to make it onto the New York Times list. Last year, no German destination was included in the recommendations.
